FITTED x HRDLCK x CAMO UH SNAPBACK

Monday, November 14th, 2011 by

Releasing tomorrow, Nov. 15th

Aloha kakou!

For tomorrow’s release, we’ve teamed up with another local brand, HRDLCK to present a shirt with a sense of humor. We all tend to take life too seriously at times, and while by no means should we always keep our guard down, life is too short to be stressing constantly. HRDLCK’s motto is: “HRDLCK is all about Blood, Surf & Beers. Work hard & enjoy life, no matter what.” We couldn’t agree more. The t-shirt features a back printed graphic of signs you may see on a regular basis, and some that are so outrageous, it borders on hilarious. Despite it all, they should all be heeded. For example, there are certain well known beach breaks across the island that have signs displayed adamantly warning you to watch out for treacherous waves, slippery rocks or box jellyfish. A lot of us take these signs for granted. And when yo do fail to recognize them, and you get taken out by a random wave washing over the rocks; well, that’s hardluck! If you step on wana while walking across bare reef, aye, that’s hardluck! The front of the tee features a FITTED x HRDLCK graphic in white. We’re also releasing a camouflage UH snapback with gold UH logo. Come through and cop. If you miss out on this one, tough shit hardluck!

ISLAND BOYS NO KA ʻOI

Thursday, September 1st, 2011 by

Releasing tomorrow, Sept. 2nd

Aloha kakou!

With the first UH game of the season two days away (vs. Colorado), we banged out a t-shirt for all UH fans real quick. All black tee with our Forward Progress graphic on the back and the very fitting idiom, (Island Boys) No Ka ʻOi (read: NUMBER 1) in white lettering and a Hawaiian flag hit for extra pride projection. With returning starters Bryant Moniz (QB) and Royce Pollard (WR) back this year, weʻre looking pretty good!! As with our running backs, our wide receiver roster was revamped (besides Royce) under the tutelage of coach Mouse Davis. Not to mention, despite the young age of our wide receivers, our advantage is speed. Our defense is a year older, faster and a year more experienced, with Vaughn Meatoga and Kaniela Tuipulotu as returning starters and the strength of Siasau Matagiese.

Releasing tomorrow, August 9th

Aloha kakou!

First of all, mahalo to everyone who bought the all black Kamehameha New Era this weekend. Sold out very quick, big mahalos to you all. Tomorrow, we have yet more goodness for your backs and heads. Peep game:

First up, we have our Island Love tee which pulls lyrics from the classic Peter Moon Band cut, Island Love. (Island Love“Juice from the Mango, Milk from the Coconut, Bud from the Cannabis… I can’t smoke enough!”) Cue that song up in your iTunes, light up a spliff Backwoods and zone out to some classic, contemporary Hawaiian music. Releasing alongside is a camouflage Mua with colors that directly tie back to the colors on our Island Love tee. But, that’s not it! We also have a new graphic tee titled Protect & Serve printed on a gray tee. The story behind this is simple: as a company that has been taking a firm stance on preserving Hawaiian culture since our inception, we feel it is a part of our kuleana to protect this ongoing preservation. It’s about integrity to us, and we’ve kept ours intact and we feel responsible to protect our culture and serve the people! Releasing alongside is a white and black UH snapback with a red snap, and a black SF Warriors snap, also with a red snap.
