YOKES TANK & ‘H’ PRIDE

Thursday, October 20th, 2011 by

Releasing Saturday, Oct. 22nd

Aloha kakou!

This Saturday’s release is a tribute to Yokes (Yokohama Bay on the West side). Yokohama Bay (Keawaʻula Beach) was named for the Japanese fisherman who frequented the area in the early 1900s. Yokohama Bay is the Japanese port city that most immigrants to Hawaiʻi sailed from. The colorway references the wide open sands and brilliant blue waters that the West side of Oʻahu is so famous for. Yokohama is home to perhaps the only other break on Oʻahu that can hold a torch to Pipeline, and is considered by many to be even more dangerous. The product: an tan (for the sands) and teal (for the pristine waters) ‘H’ Pride with a teal underbrim. Also lined up is a gray tanktop with a white FITTED script across and white crown on the back.

LEILANI x H PRIDE (BLACK AND YELLOW SNAPBACK)

Thursday, September 29th, 2011 by

Releasing Saturday, Oct. 1st

Aloha kakou,

This Saturday’s release is a nod to Hawai’i during the 50′s, more specifically Waikiki in the 50′s. We named the t-shirt Leilani (we know it’s pretty cliché, but that’s the whole point). Think of it as the Hawai’i hipster; super vintage. Coinciding with this release is an ‘H’ Pride snapback in our colors, black and yellow. Those of y’all attending the Wiz Khalifa concert this month should rock it! We wanna see a crowd of black and yellow snapbacks there.

CARPE DIEM x 6 KIDS KAMEHAMEHAS x PRIDE

Releasing May 3rd

Aloha kakou!

Tomorrow’s release is just in time for Children’s Day on the 5th of May. こどもの日 is a Japanese national holiday which we also observe here in Hawai’i which takes place every fifth day of the fifth month. It’s observed in respects to children and their innocence and happiness that is infectious. We’ve all heard the term the “Children are the future” and there’s no mistaking that. The keiki represent the Stars that shine bright at night, and during the day. They represent a birth of something great that will shine brightly as they grow older, ie the Sun. The pack features six multi-colored Kamehameha’s in keiki sizes (please call the shop for size info: 808-942-3100) along with a white tee which features a Koinobori (black carp) used to represent Children’s Day printed on the front; backside features a black crown. Also releasing (pictured down bottom) is a Pride covered in white with a gray brim and Black Kamehameha logo.

HAFA ADAI SERVED DAILY x H PRIDE

Monday, April 18th, 2011 by

Releasing Tuesday, April 19th

Hafa Adai!. This pack is for our Chamorro bredrens and sistrens out in the Pacific West! Despite the many miles that separate us from the rest of our Polynesian / Austronesian Universal family, we’re still just that, a family. There may be slight variations in our native tongues, however we still share the same body (the Pacific Ocean), bloodline (Polynesian / Pacific Islanders) and cerebral cortex (our collective knowledge, wisdom and understanding, all passed down by our ancestors with a rich and unique history). We are the original people of the Pacific! With that said, we present to you our Hafa Adai pack. The term Hafa Adai means Hello in the Chamorro language, the native tongue of the original inhabitants of the island of Guahan or Guam. Depending on who you ask, it can also be used as a term for “what’s up?” and it parallels our Aloha in more ways than one.

The tee, printed on black, features a graphic similar to our Aloha Served Daily t-shirt flipped with the words Hafa Adai Served Daily in blue, white and red and hints of yellow, green and brown. Coinciding with this release is an H Pride hat: black upper, white eyelets, gray brim and teal H.

ORIGINAL ALOHA x ALL BLACK PRIDE

Monday, February 14th, 2011 by

Releasing tomorrow, Feb. 15th

Aloha kakou!

We could sit here and wax-poetic (pun intended) about how much sex / surf wax is a part of daily life here in the islands, a must-have item for the daily surfer’s accoutrements, but if you’ve lived here long enough, you should already know. This pack features a white tee with an Aloha-fueled flip of our take on sex wax in red, gold, green and black (Aloha Served Daily) along with an all black Pride.

HENROCK x PRIDE (GRAY/BLK)

Monday, October 18th, 2010 by

Releasing tomorrow, Oct. 19th

Aloha kakou!

Tomorrow’s release is a homage to urban-America’s favorite French cognac, Hennessy. A little history on Hennessy, the company merged with Moët et Chandon in 1971, eventually spawning Moët Hennessy. In 1987, Moët Hennessy joined powerhouse luxury company Louis Vuitton (LVMH), hence the company’s innovation in luxury drinks. We’ve added our Hawaiian twist to it. Releasing alongside is a gray and black Pride (limited)!
