Aloha, I’m Kekoa Cazimero.
I was born June 5, 1989.
My nickname is KOA-BOI.
I’m a goofy-foot.
I went to Kaiser High and graduated in 2007.
My hat size is 7 1/2.

My sister is Lani and my brother is Booboo aka Keanu.
My beautiful mom is Shari Cazimero and my pops is Turk Cazimero also known as the famous Hawaiian Hurricane!

The Old Man
My pops was known for tearing shit up on and off the dance floor. He didn’t get the name “Hawaiian Hurricane” for nothing. Ha! I’ve always looked up to my dad because he’s got me to where I am today and he did it in such a positive and fun way. My dad has always stressed having morals and values and because of that I am who I am.

My home breaks are Sandy Beach, Ala Moana Bowls, and Pipe.
My favorite waves in the world are Fanning Islands and Ala Moana Bowls.
I ride for Hurley, Hardrock Café, JN Audi, Oakley, HIC surfboards, Reef, Da Kine, Monster Energy Drinks, FITTED, and HIC 2X Sun Block.
I’m the 2006 NSSA Open Men’s Champion.
My gnarliest experience in the water was going over the falls head first on a 10-footer at Pipe. Got four staples in my head minutes later… haha. I’m still obsessed with Pipe though.

My favorite surfer of all-time is Duke Kahanamoku.
I listen to hip-hop music.
I read Complex Magazine and Maxim.
I love to watch Rob and Big on TV.
I love the movies Elf and Step Brothers because Will Ferrell is the f—ing man!
I’m a Washington Redskins fan because Colt B. is my boy!
When I’m not surfing I like to high-speed rollerblade, train, and kick it with my boys, pops and little bro.

My career goal is to be a surfer that just surfs for the love of the sport. Usually every surfer says I want a world title but I’m gonna change it up. See to me the WQS and WCT takes way from the spirit and love you have for surfing. My goals are to be a traveling madman! I wanna travel all over and capture the beauty and perfections of different waves in the world. Another goal of mine is to harvest and grow the Koa Tree Foundation. I want this non-profit organization to go far beyond my years and be able to help kids in every way in the future. It’s gonna be HUGE!

Being a native Hawaiian surfer means the world to me. I love representing where I’m from in every way I can and being able to represent Hawai‘i as a professional surfer is even sweeter.

First of all I wanna thank God. Then I’d like to thank my family and my sponsors listed above. Without you guys none of this would be possible: the traveling, the contests, the support is great. I appreciate every one of you for that.
