SPEAR TO A GUNFIGHT x ‘H’ PRIDE RED NEW ERA

Monday, April 9th, 2012 by

Releasing Tuesday, Apr. 10th

Aloha kakou!

Tuesday release update: New graphic tee, titled Spear To a Gunfight. This tee’s inspiration is influenced by both the idiom, “Bring a knife to a gunfight”, however, in typical FITTED fashion, we’ve flipped with our own little twist to make it relevant to our culture and what we represent. As a whole, the saying is defined as “being ill prepared.” In relevance to our history, we were severely unprepared for what lay ahead during the beginning of the acquisition of Hawai’i. We had no idea that Hawai’i would become what it has become. A humble way of reminding all of us we never know what lays ahead.

FIRST IN (TEE)

Monday, April 2nd, 2012 by

Releasing tomorrow, April 3rd.

Aloha kakou!

Tomorrow’s release is pretty tight and light. New graphic tee dubbed First In. It’s a small homage to the Polynesians, who as we all know, were one of the first people to reach the Polynesian islands. It’s also a small homage to the great Micronesian voyager and navigator, Mau Piailug, however, it can apply to everyday life, such as being a trendsetter. Those who think independently and on their own, not following the norm, and create something new and unique are the first in that door. And that’s something we try to practice and preach, not just throughout our company, but to our ‘ohana as well.
