It really does take a village to Imu. We had the chance to do a little slow cooking… 300 pounds pork butt, 6 turkeys all cooked to perfection over 12 hours.
The lava rocks were dug up from the property over 13 years ago, the keawe wood was cut down just yards away from the pit and the banana stumps were donated
by the Fong Plantation. I must confess that this was the tastiest kalua pig I have ever had.
