SPOTLIGHT ON HAWAII HIP-HOP: BRIDGING THE GAP

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009 by

Darieus Legg is making a name for himself around these here parts; the man has a very keen eye when it comes to film. The above clip is a dope little feature on Honolulu’s (Wahiawa to be specific) own Wun put together by Mr. Legg. There’s also cameos from OGs DJ Sub-Zero & DJ Jrama of the now defunct Stone Groove Radio, along with Slapp Symphony. Shout out to Tassho, Wun, Slapp Symphony, Slo-Mo, Mushmouf, C-Gutta, Kimo James and everyone else etching a name for themselves in the name of our state. R.I.P. Stone Groove Radio, your legacy lives on. Support local Hip-Hop!

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.
