Montreal native A-Trak blasted onto the music scene in the mid-90s by winning every DJ battle under the sun before hitting puberty. He’s established himself as an in-demand party rocker in his own right, on top of being a certain Kanye West’s tour DJ. Trizzy has produced tracks for a variety of artists over the years, from established favorites like Lupe Fiasco to buzzworthy newcomer Kid Sister. A-Trak’s brand of club music falls neatly between electro and rap, managing to stay at the fine point of music, adapting his DJ skills to an ever-expanding selection with great consistency.

His presence in the streetwear scene led A-Trak to launch the latest “Capture the Flag” collaboration; the latest addition to this collection is a limited-edition, early 90s-inspired hat with New Era as part of the Capture The Flag series.

ALOHA. In basic terms it’s an expressional form of greeting, whether it be “Hello” or “Goodbye.” ALOHA can also be an acronym, for example…

A is for AKAHAI, meaning kindness,
to be expressed with a feeling of tenderness.
L is for LÔKAHI, meaning unity,
to be expressed with a feeling of harmony.
O is for `OLU`OLU, meaning agreeable, to be expressed with a feeling of pleasantness
H stands for HA`AHA`A, meaning humility, to be expressed with a feeling of modesty.
A stands for AHONUI, meaning patient, to be applied with perseverance.

With that said, we’re back again with our classic Estate LA + FITTED denim “Aloha” hat “50 Estate: Makai Edition” which we previously released for our 50th Estate pack a few months ago. This remix features an indigo denim hat with a blue linen underbill. The front of the hat features an “Aloha” logo (you may remember seeing this departing or arriving from a flight at Honolulu International Airport) in a blue color with a green stroke, and the left side features our FITTED crown and the back features our FITTED crest, and the right side features “Welcome To Honolulu.” There are only 50 pieces going for $50, hence the 50th Estate theme. We will be releasing these this Saturday (01/19/2008) at 11 AM. 1 hat per customer. See you there.
